Information and communication technology has fundamentally changed the way we learn. More importantly, it has shaped the way both public and private organizations manage and deliver technology-enriched training. In this workshop, you will be presented with a variety of e-learning technology and solutions to meet organizational training needs. In particular, this workshop will highlight the broad classifications of e-learning technology including authoring tools, course management systems, learning object specifications, virtual classroom environments, and many more. This workshop will focus on a strategy for when and where these technologies should be used, and will illustrate the technologies by demonstrating some of the most successful products available.
This workshop will be facilitated by Albert Ritzhaupt, Instructor at the School of Computing at the University of North Florida. Mr. Ritzhaupt conducts research in the integration of technology in education, multimedia learning environments, and computing education.
