Join us at our 9/20/2007 meeting to hear Mr. Ricardo R. Garcia, IBM Certified Specialist Rational Unified Process. Mr. Garcia is the Information Technology (IT) Director of Service Solutions External Integration at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSFL). Mr. Garcia will show how the industry is moving from a structure methodology to the Rational Unified Process, and highlight some of the trends and challenges in this process. Mr. Garcia has over 23 years experience in IT management, and has held numerous industry roles, including President of the IBM Global Rational User Group Council. He sits on IBM’s worldwide Client Advisory Group for Methods (1 of 20) , and is a member of the Process Focus Group subcommittee. He is a frequent speaker for various industry conferences such as Rational Software Development Conference, and member of the Software Program Manager’s Network and Software Acquisition Best Practices for the Department of Defense. Ricardo is also a renowned chess champion.
